Quarantine Snacking getting out of control? Here are three strategies to help you get back on track

  1. Rely on water. Often times dehydration can be disguised as hunger. Before you grab that unhealthy snack, commit to drinking a glass of water to determine if the hunger is real.
  2. Out of sight, out of mouth. The easiest and surest way to avoid mindless snacking is to keep excess snacks OUT of your cabinets. When you buy your snacks, portion them as soon as you get home to avoid over eating.
  3. Create an eating schedule. Map out your day and eat your meals and snacks during your most active hours. Also, do your best to avoid snacking within 3 hours of bedtime.
