Although many people believe that they can just exercise the pounds away, a better way to lose weight is to eliminate unhealthy eating habits. From omitting sugary drinks to getting more rest, there are many things you can do to drop pounds WITHOUT breaking a sweat.

  1. Start the day with breakfast. I know it’s hard to eat in the morning, especially when you’re in a rush, but skipping breakfast can lead to increased food cravings causing you to eat more that you normally would later in the day. The old saying still holds true: “Breakfast IS the most important meal of the day!”
  2. Brush and floss your teeth after each meal to resist the temptation of eating more.
  3. Set achievable goals. Remember, we all have a unique journey when it comes to achieving our fitness goals. If you set your expectations TOO high, you could be setting yourself up for failure. Instead, set small, attainable goals and build from there.
