Sometimes staying motivated to lose weight is harder than diet and exercise…lol. If you find yourself struggling to see the silver lining, check out these tips on staying motivated to lose weight:

  1. Find a support group. There’s nothing like having the constant encouragement from people whose goals are aligned with yours. If you’re feeling lonely on your weight loss journey, seek support from friends or even an online fitness group.
  2. Pick a plan that fits YOUR lifestyle. It’s easy to think you have to follow the “crowd” to reach your fitness goals. However, everything plan doesn’t work for every person. Do your research and embrace a plan you can stick with.
  3. Celebrate small victories. It can be overwhelming constantly thinking of your long term fitness goal, especially if you have a lot of weight to lose. Instead, set small goals and reward yourself when you achieve them.
