We covered soooo much from her new single “Come Do Nothing” to relationship ups and downs and how counseling helped her and her husband with understanding each other:
“Counseling is your best friend. So you can understand those things… I was determined to be in a healthy relationship…so yes while I want him to “get it”, there’s some give and take and I have to give too…I gotta try to get it too and I think that’s what we usually miss…Let’s try to get where they’re coming from…step in their shoes…but we don’t wanna hear that when we hot tho and when you mad!!” (laughs)
We also talked the misconception of being an independent artist and how she has been able to remain successful even though the music industry has hit a low with declining record sales.
