As a mother of 4 children, I’ve learned that the best way to lose weight and keep it off is through “inter dependency.” You want to have enough discipline to stick to your fitness program but you also need to be around people who are like-minded and will encourage you. If you are feeling unmotivated, try to find a workout partner who will hold you accountable. Not the co-worker who invites you to Popeye’s for lunch everyday but maybe the one who eats healthy and makes frequent visits to the gym. Whomever you choose, make sure that person will push you closer to your goal and not pull you back.
