CNN’s Don Lemon endorsed New York City’s racist ‘Stop & Frisk’ policy during his regular appearance on the ‘Tom Joyner Morning Show,’ and Black Twitter responded furiously with the #DonLemonOn hashtag.
“So goes New York City, so goes the rest of the country,” Lemon said of Stop & Frisk, adding his suggestion that if a new mayor “alters the equation of the formula that has reduced crime in New York City to its lowest in decades,” it could result in the “creeping back up” of crime rates, the reduction in tourism, and the suffering of “international consequences.” He posited that other major cities could follow suit.
“Whatever the mayor here decides will be reflected in your city, reflected in your crime rate, and in your economy,” Lemon concluded. “So the question is: would you rather be politically correct or safe and alive? That’s the real issue facing the citizens of New York and, pretty soon, ultimately you.”
Black Twitter swiftly responded with a sharp satirical list of additional questions that Lemon might ask:

As previously reported by NewsOne, Lemon is familiar with Black Twitter’s wrath.
During one outrageous “Talking Points” segment of his show, Bill O’Reilly called out Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton for race-baiting in the Black community, instead of working effectively to solve issues that plague people of color.
And just how does O’Reilly think Black people should solve these issues?
“[T]he first solution is, you’ve got to stop young Black women from having babies out of wedlock. You’ve got to discourage that actively,” O’Reilly said. “And the second thing is, you’ve got to demand discipline in your public schools in the inner cities, particularly, get the unions out of there. Have the kids in school uniforms and demand standards in discipline. I don’t hear any of that from Jackson or Sharpton, or from you or from President Obama.”
Lemon seconded O’Reilly’s racist rant by stating: “In my estimation, he doesn’t go far enough.”
He then went on to offer a ”plan” that could solve the myriad of issues in the Black community at-large — starting with pulling up sagging pants to avoid racial profiling.
Black Twitter erupted, forcing Lemon to go to great lengths to justify his disingenuous points.
Watch Lemon on ‘The View’ below:
The more and more Lemon speaks, it’s becoming evident that he’s trolling us and should be reported for spam. While safety and personal responsibility are important in any civilized society, by not addressing the institutionalized racism that endangers people of color in the country, Lemon joins the league of myopic victim-blamers who view their own successful assimilation as a giant leap for the Black community at-large.
Newsflash: It’s not.
And hopefully it doesn’t take Lemon being stopped and frisked — and possibly shot — while he’s in his fancy suit to realize that.
