Strawberry Letter: Married But Living Separate

Hello Steve and Shirley,

I am 33 years old with two children, age 12 and 10. I recently married in August 2012 and my husband and I live separately. I have my own two-bedroom apartment and he lives with several roommates. I am tired of packing my bags on Friday to sleepover in his room with my kids. This was not an arrangement before marriage. We did not live together before marriage because I did not want my children to see us shacking up. Now three months into the marriage, I’m tired of us not living together. We both have financial difficulties, which hinders us from moving. He says he does not want to move in my place because it’s too far from his job. Please advise us on what we can do to move our marriage forward.

Thank you in advance.
