Strawberry Letter 23: Married Man Stuck In The Middle
Hello Steve,
I am a forty something year old married man of twenty something years. I love my wife our kids are 17 & 18. The problem is my wife and I have grown apart over the years and I don’t know if its because we got married straight out of high school or what it is.
My problem is, I have met this wonderful woman who is sexy, beautiful, smart, intelligent, and independent. I have fallen in love with this woman and love her kids as well. We have been seeing each other for a year now and she knows that I am married. She has never pressured or asked me to leave my wife but I am ready to do it anyway I just don’t want to hurt my wife. But I am ready to move on and start a life with this other woman.
My wife has never worked I have always provided everything and I’m willing to still do that for the most part for her and my kids but I told her if she starts to have men there I will still take care of the kids but she will have to provide for herself.
Am I wrong for feeling that way? What do I do about being in love with this other woman?
