Donald Trump Announces He Will Not Attend This Year’s Super Bowl

With the 2026 Super Bowl just weeks away, Donald Trump has already confirmed he will not be in attendance. Speaking with the New York Post, Trump said the main reason for his absence is the game’s location, noting that it is simply too far for him to travel.
“It’s just too far away. I would [go]. I’ve gotten great hands at the Super Bowl. They like me,” Trump said.
When asked about this year’s halftime performers, Bad Bunny and Green Day, Trump made it clear he was not a fan of the selection. “I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible,” he added.
Super Bowl LX will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, February 8. Despite Trump’s decision to skip the event, the game is still expected to draw massive viewership and attention nationwide.
