This week, almost every Historically Black College & University President and Chancellor signed a letter to both Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell regarding the funding needed and ultimately required to continue to be beacons of hope into the world. But, they consistently have not been getting the financial support that other colleges and universities get from state and federal government.
With the Build Back Better Plan, HBCU’s will have $10 billion invested into them, and locally, Sam Sirmons of Ryan Cameron Uncensored was able talk to the President of Morehouse College, Dr. David A. Thomas, about it’s benefit, what it would look like for its institution, and with the headlines that Howard University have had recently, the relationship that Morehouse administration has with its own student body.
