Social media sites are buzzing about a rally to support Colin Kaepernick who has not been signed to a team yet. Many people believe that Kaepernick is being black-balled because of his kneeling protest against racial profiling and police brutality and they believe the NFL is ignoring African Americans. There is a online petition on change.org that is promising to boycott the NFL if no team signs Kaepernick. Spike Lee is announcing a rally outside NFL Headquaters in NY in August 23.
North Korea Guam missle strike plan ready by mid-August

North Korea is bucking back at President Donald J. Trump’s fire and fury comments, the Commander of the North Korean army are giving a possible timeline for an attack on the U.S. territory of Guam. He released a statement saying they will continue with their plans to attack Guam by mid-August. Guam is home of some key military bases.

City leaders want to rename Freedom Parkway to John Lewis Freedom Parkway in honor of Congressman John Lewis. Councilman Andre Dickens proposed the idea before Mayor Reed leaves office.
