Subject: I’ve hurt my wife, but I need her back!
Good morning Steve & Shirley, I’ve been married to my lovely wife for 4 yrs! We have a beautiful relationship with the occasional problems, which I believe are normal. Within the first year of our marriage, she found some text messages and phone calls on my cell. When asked about it, I lied and tried to cover it up. These messages were to an ex-girlfriend. She wanted to get a divorce but I was sincere and told her this will never happen again! I even called the woman and told her that our relationship was detrimental to my marriage and that I can’t talk to her anymore. Well, some time went by and this woman reached out to me again. She had changed her number and all. Me, being foolish, took the bait and began to have contact with her during the last couple of years of my marriage via phone. Contact was made but had several month gaps between them. The killer is, just recently, the woman sent some pictures, one picture was in lingerie, but the others were fully clothed. The pictures actually went to my iPad which was at home with my wife. Needless to say, I tried to cover up the story and twist and turn it. My wife wants a divorce! Yes, I broke her trust again. Is there hope for my marriage? I’m devastated. Did I mention that this is the worst I’ve ever done? Just text messages! I need my wife in my life.
