Dear Steve and Shirley,
I am 25 yr woman with 3 dads. I have my biological father who I have only met 3yrs ago. I have my dad that raised me and my dad married to my mom for a few yrs.
My dilemma is I have heard that you should not put step in front of dad but I don’t want to hurt any of their feelings by calling all of them dad. My dad that raised me from a baby, he is my dad. My dad that I share DNA with, I call him by his first name. I call my my mom’s husband by his first name also. With that said, how do I call all of them dad without hurting any of the other one’s feelings? At this point they are all in my and my children’s lives. They all spend time and play with them. I am torn between my three dads that I love so much.
