Although many of us saw this coming, now music execs are expressing their unfavorable predictions for Jay-Z’s TIDAL music streaming service. Personally, I love Jay-Z as a business man but trying to sell a service that other companies are providing for free is an uphill battle. What do you think? Should Jay-Z just give up and eat his losses?

The Business Insider reports:

For Tidal, traction has been hard to come by. And now some 71% of top music executives have lost faith in the streaming service, saying they believe the company will fold in a year or less, Billboard reports.

The company’s valuation spiked to a reported $250 just a month after Jay Z acquired it, but his efforts to brand it as an artists’ platform seem to have largely failed to move the public.
