As we reported two weeks ago, the daytime world and it’s viewing family, lost a beloved member of the community as 84-year-old actress Jeanne Cooper or as most people know her, Katherine Chancellor passed away.
The loss of the actress who had been cheering on her fellow cast-mates and crew from the sidelines for the last 40 years is immeasurable. So much so in fact, that Y&R took a day off, to sit and discuss her life and career with each other and with all of the loyal viewers of the show. They brought back old cast-mates and friends of the show, and during that one hour, the viewer was able to get a sense of who Jeanne Cooper really was.
We know there was a saddened reaction from our readers upon our announcing the passing of this amazing talent, and we wanted to make sure that in case you missed the tribute, you were still able to see it. They really did a great job memorializing Ms. Cooper today. They showed so many back stories and behind the scenes moments, and it was really nice to hear Jeanne Cooper discuss her 40 years in her own words.
