ST. LOUIS (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says President Barack Obama wants to reshape the Supreme Court to soften gun rights, among other things.
Romney told the National Rifle Association convention Friday in St. Louis that he will stand up for the rights of hunters and those seeking to protect their homes and families. He said Obama fails to do so, but he didn’t offer any specifics.
Obama’s re-election campaign said the president supports and respects gun rights.
