Fans have been waiting for years for the iconic 90s R&B group Jodeci to make a comeback, and fans may finally get their wish soon.

Jodeci member Mr. Dalvin told You Know I Got Soul that the group is going to go on tour, then hit the studio and make a new album which they hope to release by the end of the year. Jodeci also includes Mr. Dalvin’s brother DeVante, and brothers K-Ci and JoJo.

Mr. Dalvin said:

“I don’t want to promise you anything, but I would say near the end of the year we’ll go on tour, because we haven’t toured the States since ’96, and then come back and put out that album.”

“We’ve got like 200 songs recorded already, so we’re probably going to go through them  and put together an album. We got hot songs that we never released or nobody ever heard.”

“Everybody thinks we just broke up and don’t speak or anything, but it’s nothing like that. We’re family and people don’t understand that.”

Have you been waiting for Jodeci to make a comeback? How do you think the R&B vets will go over with the younger crowd?
