Keisha Lance Bottoms got a big endorsement in the race for Atlanta’s next mayor. Former candidate Kwanza Hall says he’ll work to push his district to support Keisha Lance Bottoms. The run-off election between Keisha Lance Bottoms and Mary Norwood is December 5.
FBI hunting robbery crew targeting Asian-owned businesses

Federal authorities believe that it is just a matter of time before a violent robbing crew strikes again in the metro Atlanta area. The robbing crew is connected to around 11 robberies in the metro area and in the past 2 months, all victims are Asian-owned businesses in the metro Atlanta area. In one case 3 customers were shot , in another case customers were pistol whipped. Police say the robbers usually drive an older red or maroon Pontiac Grand Prix with temporary tag.
Georgia mom put toddler sons in oven and killed them

The woman accused of killing her two sons by putting them in a hot oven is expected to be in court today. Police say 24-year-old Lamora Williams but her 1 and 2 year old sons in the oven and then turned it on at the Oakland city west-end apartments. Officers also say she face-timed the boys father to show him what she had done.
Proposal to rename street after Congressman John Lewis moves forward

Freedom Parkway could soon be John Lewis-Freedom Parkway. Yesterday a city council committee approved a ordinance to change the name of the highway. A proposal will go before a full council next week and if approved the name change will apply to the stretch between Boulevard and Ponce De Leon.
