Delta Air Lines Announces Baggage Fee Increase

If you have plans to fly, be prepared to pay a little more for your luggage, as Delta Air Lines has announced increases to their checked baggage fees.

Starting April 7, the fee for a first checked bag has increased to $45, a $10 rise from the previous price. Fees for additional bags have also changed:

$55 for a second checked bag (an increase of $10)
$200 for a third checked bag (an increase of $50)

These updated fees apply to domestic and select short-haul international routes, so travelers should factor these added costs into their trip budgets when planning ahead.
