Lil Baby Hosts 5th Annual Back-to-School Bash in Atlanta

Lil Baby recently hosted his fifth annual Back-to-School Bash in Atlanta’s West End, drawing a crowd of over 4,000 attendees. The event, organized in partnership with his newly launched non-profit, The Jones Project, provided essential school supplies, wellness products, and fun activities for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
As reported by The Atlanta Voice, the bash featured free shoes, book bags filled with supplies, haircuts, braiding services, and carnival rides. Sponsors like The Jessie Rose Project, The Athlete’s Foot, Slim & Huskies, Zaxby’s, Fanatics, and Dr. Bombay Ice Cream contributed to the event’s success.
Lil Baby, whose music has been streamed over 30 billion times globally, made a personal connection with attendees. He posed for selfies, signed autographs, and interacted with the children. “I love them like they love me,” he shared, reflecting on the community’s support.
Parents also expressed their gratitude. Yolanda Hill, a parent in attendance, said, “Lil Baby, Dominique, keep doing what you are doing—we love you for that. A lot of artists just throw money and don’t really come to these types of events, but he came and actually stayed and showed face.”
Despite his global fame, Lil Baby remains committed to giving back to his community. “It means a lot to be able to come back and give back because I know so much comes behind not having shoes and school utensils and stuff for school—because that be a lot of kids’ reason to steer off,” he explained.
The event not only eased the financial burden on parents but also inspired the next generation. As one young fan excitedly told the rapper, “I listen to you before all my games.” Lil Baby’s dedication to his roots continues to make a meaningful impact in Atlanta.
