SEATTLE – A man suspected of killing four police officers in a neighboring county apparently fled a Seattle house before a SWAT team stormed it Monday, authorities said.
Police continued to scour the neighborhood and surrounding areas for Maurice Clemmons, 37, who may be wounded, Seattle police spokesman Officer Jeff Kappel told reporters Monday.
After an overnight standoff, a SWAT team entered the house Monday morning but found no one inside.
