Doechii, born Jaylah Ji’mya Hickmon, is a dynamic force in the music scene, blending raw rap skills with versatile vocals to create a sound all her own.
The Tampa, Florida native first made waves in 2020 with her breakout track “Yucky Blucky Fruitcake.” The quirky yet introspective single showcased her talent and personality, quickly going viral on TikTok and paving the way for her rise in the industry.

Additionally, Doechii’s hit single “Nissan Altima” earned a nod for Best Rap Performance, while the Kaytranada Remix of her track “Alter Ego,” featuring JT and Kaytranada, secured a nomination for Best Remixed Recording.
