The movie plot centered around a caring housekeeper (Guy) and a protective gardener support three elderly Jewish sisters who are left to keep what remains of a most sacred vow. As a merciful judge grants three wayward young women a lifeline of hope, the six lives are merged as they confront cultural resistance while trying to cross the barriers of ethnic tensions, decency, and respect.
But, before she left the show, she reflected on her time on one of the most iconic TV shows of all-time, “A Different World.” In her revelations after the show has celebrated over 35 years since its premiere, she shared what her first contract looked like & how Debbie Allen changed the trajectory of the show.
