Mayoral candidate Mary Norwood gets a major endorsement

Another high profile endorsement in Atlanta’s mayor’s race. This time Cathy Woolard who places 3rd in the general election for mayor announced yesterday (Nov.29) that she was supporting and would vote for Mary Norwood over Keisha Lance Bottoms. Early voting is going on now at 18 voting locations until Dec. 1. Run off elections for Atlanta mayor is Dec. 5
In Fulton County, early voting open through Dec. 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. There are 18 voting locations, according to Fulton County’s website:

Teenager shot, killed while trying to sell shoes on Instagram

In Henry county, a 18-year-old is dead after meeting with who he thought was a buyer who wanted to purchase his Air Jordan 1 sneakers, Jay-dyn Parks was trying to sell his shoes on Instagram. Cops are now gathering evidence after the buyer claimed self-defense. Officers detained and questioned the admitted shooter and passenger.”At this time they’ve been released pending further investigation,” said Chief Austin.
Austin said the autopsy is scheduled today. After, they hope to have a report outlining a more rounded picture of what happened.
Estranged boyfriend sought in postal worker’s killing

DeKalb county police are seeking the estranged boyfriend of the postal worker shot and killed Monday night in DeKalb county. They say 22-year-old Quantez Tyre is accused of gunning down his child’s mother Tyrika Terrell, Quantez is the father of Terrell’s 6 months old daughter.
