Atlanta’s mayor race heads to runoff election

The big election headline this morning, the race for Atlanta’s mayor is going to a run-off election. Keisha Lance Bottoms came in first last night but she did not get the 50% +1 to avoid the run-off with Mary Norwood and that run-off election will be Dec. 5.
Rockdale county teacher threatens to shoot student

A teacher in Rockdale county is on administrative leave after threatening to shoot a student. The threat by teacher Paul Hagan was caught on a cell phone camera at Rockdale Career Academy in Conyers. The student’s mother, Amy Carr says her sons misbehavior did not deserve the threat and she wants Paul Hagan fired. She has started a online petition.
