Georgia Fugitives Captured In Tennessee

The two escaped inmates accused of killing guards on a prison bus in Georgia have been caught and are currently behind bars. Donnie Rowe and Ricky Dubose were caught in Christiana, TN last night right after they broke into the home of an elderly couple, tied them up, threatened them with guns and stole their jeep. The couple broke free and notified authorities. Deputies and troopers quickly chased them and caught them.
Karen Handel’s home target of suspicious package

A suspicious package containing white powder was delivered to Republican Karen Handel’s home and her neighbors in the Willow Springs community. The FBI was called in to take the lead on the investigation. Today is the last day for early voting in the 6th Congressional district race.

Fulton County residents furious over 2017 property tax assessments

Homeowners in Fulton County are furious after getting controversial tax bills that doubled and even tripled from last year. Yesterday ( June 15, 2017) the county board of assessors voted to move forward with those 2017 assessments and told the crowd that the board does not have the legal authority to resend or freeze taxes.
