On Sunday, federal investigators revealed they obtained a warrant to review a collection of emails that belonged to one of presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton’s aides. This comes after FBI director James Comey penned a letter to Congress on Friday sharing that additional emails found on the personal server need to be reviewed. According to reports, the investigators who are a part of the probe are quickly trying to cull out information to see if any of those emails would affect her potential presidency as Election Day nears. “The process has begun,” a law enforcement official said in a statement. Investigators are under an immense amount of pressure because several people, including GOP candidate Donald Trump, wants the content of the emails released to the public prior to Election Day. “Voting is already underway in our country so the American people deserve to get the full and complete facts immediately,” said Clinton. “The director himself has said he doesn’t know whether the e-mails referenced in his letter are significant or not. I’m confident, whatever they are, will not change the conclusion reached in July.” Read more.

Facebook is in hot water after it was discovered that the social networking platform may possibly be giving advertisers the ability to exclude certain racial groups from their promotions. Propublica.org launched an investigation on Facebook’s advertising procedures and noticed that when buying an ad you have the ability to exclude racial groups. “The ad we purchased was targeted to Facebook members who were house hunting and excluded anyone with an “affinity” for African-American, Asian-American or Hispanic people,” said the site in a statement. According to Facebook, they don’t allow advertisers to utilize targeting selections because they believe that it will lead to “predatory advertising practices.” “We take a strong stand against advertisers misusing our platform: Our policies prohibit using our targeting options to discriminate, and they require compliance with the law,” said Steve Satterfield, privacy and public policy manager at Facebook. “We take prompt enforcement action when we determine that ads violate our policies.” Read more.
