(Atlanta, GA – July 29, 2016) – At 4:15 pm today, Radio One Atlanta will be heard on both 107.5 FM and 97.5 FM. After seven months of airing Atlanta’s Best Mix of R&B only on 107.5 FM, the station can now be heard again on two frequencies. MAJIC is back on 107.5/97.5 with The Real Sound of Atlanta. From home, to work and play, MAJIC is back to keep Atlanta company.

“We heard our listeners,” said Tim Davies, Vice President and General Manager, Radio One Atlanta. “One signal wasn’t strong enough to reach all of our audience. Our South Atlanta audience missed listening to The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Maria More and The Ride with SiMan and Chubb Rock intheafternoons. Sowehavebroughtthetwobacktogether, literallytheMAJICisback!”

The Classic Hip Hop station Boom 102.9 with the Ed Lover Morning Show and DJ Nabs in the afternoons, can still be heard on 102.9 FM. PRAISE 102.5 FM continues to be the home of inspiration and gospel music and of course, Atlanta’s number one Hip Hop station remains on HOT 107.9 FM.

“The radio sets the tone of the day for so many people,” said Derek Harper, Program Director for MAJIC 107.5/97.5. “Our loyal listeners want a strong and clear sound on MAJIC and it’s our pleasure to give it to them. Yes, we’re back where we belong, on both 107.5 FM and 97.5 FM.
