Police Response Worsened Violence In Ferguson Unrest, Says Justice Department
Ferguson’s Police Department is getting bad reviews once again for its abominable practices in dealing with civilians during protests that followed Michael Brown’s death. The Justice Department says that Ferguson officers failed to effectively communicate with each other or with locals, they inhibited protesters’ freedom of expression and they wrongfully intimidated demonstrators with weapons, tear gas, attack dogs and military-style gear and vehicles.
