Former “Cosby” kid actress Keisha Knight Pulliam (pictured) was fired from “Celebrity Apprentice” Sunday, after refusing to call her ex-TV dad for money in a charity challenge, the New York Daily News reports.

The firing came when Pulliam, who played “Rudy,” the youngest for most of “The Cosby Show,” reportedly refused to call Bill Cosby in a charity challenge on the Jan. 4th episode, which was recorded before a series of sex assault allegations surfaced against the embattled star.

“For me to pick up the phone having not talked to you for five years, except for when we run in to each other for a Cosby event, I feel that’s not my place to do,” Pulliam said when questioned by Trump. She insisted previously that her experience on the 1980s hit show taught her the importance of philanthropy.

But the hardnosed 68-year-old businessman did not buy Pulliam’s explanation, blaming her for her team’s loss as its project manager. The team was comprised of Kate Gosselin, Vivica A. Fox, Shawn Johnson, Brandi Glanville, Kenya Moore, and Leeza Gibbons.

“You didn’t make one call that I really believe that if you’d called that gentleman he would have helped you, even if you hadn’t spoken to him in years,” Trump said.

“You were an amazing team with one of the most successful shows ever, so I think it would have been a good call to make for charity,” Trump added. “You have to take responsibility.”

Trump later took to Twitter to discuss the show:

But Pulliam defended the embattled Cosby during an appearance Monday on the “Today” show, saying the allegations are “just that – allegations. We live in America, where you’re innocent until proven guilty,” she said. “All I can speak to is the man that I know and I love.”
