Residents of the City of Decatur can drop off Christmas trees at the Agnes Scott College parking lot located between 184-206 S. Candler Street.

December 26-January 16th

Free curbside pickup of Christmas trees.

Directions:

-Remove decorations

-Place tree at the curb on your normal recycling day.

-If the tree is bigger than 7 feet, cut it into smaller pieces.

Keep Cobb Beautiful is sponsoring free Christmas tree recycling drop-off locations throughout Marietta and Cobb County.

The following parks and recreation locations will accept trees through January 3, 2015:

-Coal Mountain Recycling Convenience Center, 3560 Settingdown Road

“Bring One for the Chipper,” sponsored by Keep Georgia Beautiful, is the statewide recycling program for Christmas trees. Since 1991, “Bring One for the Chipper,” has collected over 5 million trees. At many locations, Boy Scouts are on hand to help you quickly unload you tree.
