Jay Z used his six hour performance of “Picasso Baby,” filmed at the Manhattan Art Gallery, as footage for his upcoming video accompanying the “Magna Carta Holy Grail” song. “Picasso Baby: A Performance Art Film” is set to air August 2nd at 11pm on HBO. We’ve yet to hear a concrete project from Lil Kim since her last release “Black Friday” back when she was heavily beefing with Nicki Minaj. It seems like all that is about to change! Kim announced that she will be releasing a “Hardcore” mixtape. “BACK 2 DA STREETZ #TeamLilKim I love all my fans!!!!!,” she tweeted.

“Hardcore” was one of LIl Kim’s most critically acclaimed albums and a fan favorite. If her forthcoming mixtape embodies any of the grittiness on the original album, Kim has a hit on her hands!
