Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, this past June, I participated in Atlanta Corporate Fight Night 5 and won my second amateur boxing match to help raise money for my selected charity Covenant House Georgia (CHGA).

Now, on November 15, I am sleeping on the street and experiencing homelessness for just one night to show homeless youth that they are not alone.

I was recently reminded that each night there are hundreds of homeless teens living on the streets of our community, alone in our parks, sleeping at the airport, riding the Marta line for a place to rest, and hiding under area bridges. Covenant House Georgia provides a crisis shelter and a full array of services to these young people to provide them a safe future off of the streets. Currently, CHGA operates a 15-bed crisis shelter that is overflowing past capacity every night, sleeping an additional 10 kids on mats in lounges. Alarmingly, over the past year, in addition to the 25 kids they have served at the shelter each night, there is still a waiting list of over 140 youth seeking safe harbor from the streets.

CHGA is in the process of purchasing and renovating a facility that will allow them to more than quadruple the number of kids they serve. The new shelter will host a 60-bed crisis facility and a 28-bed independent living facility. Together with hundreds of business leaders in cities across the US, Canada and Latin America, I am participating in the Sleep Out to bring awareness and support to these kids by raising money to help Covenant House expand and continue its life-saving work for these kids who have nowhere else to turn.

A page has been setup in my name for donations. Please visit and donate whatever you can, great or small. My good friends at Covenant House and I thank you in advance.
