When Mary J. Blige and D’Angelo announced they would be hitting the road this summer with Melanie Fiona, we noticed that an Atlanta stop was not on the itinerary. Well now we can stop worrying!
The “Liberation Tour,” as it is being called, will stop at Atlanta’s Chastain Park Amphitheatre on August 28. Showtime is 7 pm.
Tickets for the show are priced at $55.75-$125.75 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday through all Ticketmaster outlets.
D’Angelo has been on a gradual comeback trail this year, first playing dates in Europe, followed with successful performances at the BET Awards, the Bonnarroo Music Festival and the Essence Music Festival.
