NBA star Dwayne Wade’s wife, Siohvaughn Funches-Wade, has been arrested on two counts of attempted child abduction, two counts of unlawful visitation interference and one count of resisting arrest.
According to the police report, Wade’s sister went to pick up the young boys so they could make their 3 pm flight back to Miami to spend Father’s Day with D Wade. She waited for hours until calling police after Siohvaughn never opened the door.
After finally making to Miami, Wade’s oldest son confessed that his mother’s friend Nadgee hit him in the head. Nadgee Alarcon was also taken into custody.
Siohvaughn is set to appear in court again in August. D Wade wants the judge to suspend Siohvaughn’s visitation rights because of the incident that led to her arrest.
