Surveillance video has surfaced of Trayvon Martin buying Skittles and an Iced Tea from a Sanford, Florida 7-Eleven moments before he was killed by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman.

Martin can be seen purchasing his items while wearing a dark hoodie. There is no sound to the visuals but it is clear that the exchange was normal. Trayvon simply paid for his things and left.

Martin’s autopsy report was also revealed. It showed that the 17-year-old died of a single gunshot wound to the chest from “intermediate range.” The single shot penetrated Martin’s heart and killed him. He also had a small abrasion on his left ring finger below the knuckle.

Additionally, small amounts of THC, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, was found in Martin’s system, which should have absolutely no bearing on the case because it still doesn’t justify Martin’s killling.

Photos of Zimmerman were also released that show his injuries, which included abrasions on the back of his head that led to bleeding. Zimmerman has been charged with second-degree murder in Martin’s death and is out on bail awaiting trial.

“The police concluded that none of this would have happened if George Zimmerman hadn’t gotten out of his car,” said Martin family attorney Ben Crump. “If George Zimmerman hadn’t gotten out of his car, they say it was completely avoidable. That is the headline.”
