Strawberry Letter: My Husband Hates My Daughter
GM Morning Club,
I have a 16 yr old daughter from a previous relationship. Married for 6 yrs, but I have been with this man for 10 yrs. This man has kids from a previous marriage who we gained custody of (their grown now). Because of the person I am, I welcomed his kids into our home without reservation.
Now here’s the kicker…I was playing a joke on my husband & I was hiding in our room. He came in from drinking with his boys & automatically when he noticed I wasn’t there he began drunk talking to himself. He repeatedly said how he HATES MY DAUGHTER, HE REALLY HATES HER@ GOD KNOWS HE HATES HER & WE BOTH WERE SEVERAL FEMALE DOGS (BITCHES).
My heart dropped. I asked him several times if he had issues with my daughter because I see certain ways he looks at her & things he says & does. He claimed he didn’t. So now I’m ready to file for a divorce because clearly, MY DAUGHTER comes before any man (besides GOD).
Oh, did I mention I did for his kids just like I did for mine, never showing a difference? Am I overreacting???
