In her latest installment for HelloBeautiful, Atlanta’s own Kandi Burruss sits down with singer Sunshine Anderson who had a hit song with her female anthem “Heard It All Before.” The ladies catch up on where life has taken them and Sunshine reveals she spiraled into a deep depression after her song was nominated for a Grammy and she wasn’t!
Sunshine tells Kandi that her father was responsible for bringing her out of her depression when he told her, “if the damn ship sinks, are you going to go down with it?” Kandi then reveals that she battled depression while in middle school.
