Neither the Roots nor John Legend appear in the latest video from The Roots' latest album, "How I Got Over." The group chose director Rik Cordero to film a clip for the piece, and Cordero explained his decision to leave the performers of the song out of the clip to Okayplayer.

John Legend's long-awaited collaboration with The Roots, "Wake Up!," has been getting a lot of positive buzz online lately. The album of covers of politically themed songs drops September 21st.
