Mary J. Blige’s new My Life perfume being produced by Carol’s Daughter sold an astonishing 50,000 units [at $55 a pop] in one day on HSN despite it not even being available in stores yet.
Mary J. Blige added two more accomplishments to her impressive resume: She received her high school diploma, and she unveiled her new fragrance, My Life, at this weekend's Essence Music Festival. Named for her emotion-filled 1994 album, "My Life" is Blige's first foray into fragrance and the first celebrity scent released by natural skin care company Carol's Daughter where she is an investor in the beauty brand.
Mary J. Blige will keep her fans smelling fresh with her new fragrance line “My Life.” Blige says she’s always had people asking her what she’s wearing, which prompted her to create her own scent.
