The brother of Oscar winner Mo’Nique appeared on Oprah yesterday and admitted he molested the actress when they were children and wants to apologize to her.

Actress, comedienne and TV host Mo’Nique won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in “Precious.” She beat out Vera Farmiga, Anna Kendrick, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Penelope Cruz, as she did at the Golden Globes.

Monique says the secret to longevity in her marriage is to allow her husband, Sidney Hicks, to stray. According to the NY Daily News, the comedienne/actress recently sat down with ABC’s Barbara Walters and revealed the key to her happy marriage.

In many ways, the critically acclaimed film "Precious" is about hopes and dreams. When Mo'Nique, one of the movie's stars, was growing up in Baltimore, Maryland, she too longed for something. "I've always wanted to be famous," the actress and comedian said.

"Precious" received three nominations at the 67th annual Golden Globe Awards, including best film, best actress in a drama for Gabourey Sidibe and supporting actress for Mo'Nique. Morgan Freeman also scored a nomination for his role as Nelson Mandela in "Invictus."
