48th NAACP Image Awards – Show

It’s that time again, award season is upon us. The 49th annual NAACP Image Awards reach even bigger and Blacker levels with this year’s show airing on Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday (January 15). The festivities will kick off with an hour-long red carpet show. Anthony Anderson returns as host for the second year in a row, which means we can expect another great (and hopefully) nostalgic opening act. In the mean time, check out which of your favorite Black stars was nominated for an Image award.
