Dominating the box office for the second week in a row was the Sci-Fi movie “Avatar” which grossed $75 million over the weekend.
Coming in second was the adventure movie “Sherlock Holmes” earning $65.3 million. Taking the third spot was the animated movie “Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel” with $50.2 million.
Meryl Streep’s “It’s Complicated” debuted at number 4 and grossed $22.1 million. And rounding out the topfive was George Clooney’s comedy-drama “Up In The Air” with 11.7 million.
