Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Queen Latifah, Shanice Wilson and Motown founder Berry Gordy Jr. were among the celebrities who honored singer Teena Marie at a private memorial service in Los Angeles on Monday.

Gordy and Wonder spoke and Robinson and Wilson sang at the memorial service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Marie’s daughter, Alia Rose Brockert, also memorialized her mom.

As we previously reported, Teena Marie (born Mary Christine Brockert), died Dec. 27 at age 54. Police have said she died of natural causes.
