Mariah Carey Shares Thoughts on Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Snub

Grammy Award–winning singer Mariah Carey is opening up about not being selected for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. When asked by Vanity Fair about the snub, Carey said, “I hate answering this question, because the truth is I don’t care.”

She added, “That’s my answer. But it would be nice to get into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, because it’s a legendary honor. So, you know, that could be cool. But when I say I don’t care, it’s because I knew I wasn’t going to get in this year. I just knew it. And the minute I saw Sade, I was like, ‘She’s in.’ I love Sade.”

Carey also shared her thoughts with TMZ while in New York.
