Pop star Bruno Mars is finally speaking out about rumors that he owes money to MGM Resorts.

Over the weekend, during the opening stop of his Romantic Tour, Mars joked about the speculation while on stage with fellow Silk Sonic member Anderson .Paak. At one point, he said, “Andy, I’m sorry you’re going through all that. See, I’m debt-free. I paid the casino off a long time ago.”

Fans quickly picked up on the comment, interpreting it as a lighthearted response to the ongoing rumors.
