Netflix to Increase Prices, Again

Say it ain’t so! Streaming platform Netflix has announced yet another price increase. The company rolled out the changes on Thursday, with all subscription tiers rising by at least $1 per month.
The ad-supported plan is now $8.99 per month, up from $7.99. The standard plan has increased to $19.99 per month from $17.99, while the premium plan now costs $26.99 per month, up from $24.99. Additionally, the extra member fee has gone up to $6.99 per month, previously $5.99.
This marks the latest in a series of price hikes, with the last increase occurring in January 2025. As streaming costs continue to climb, subscribers may start to weigh whether the platform’s content justifies the higher monthly expense.
