Prayers up for civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson. Sources say, he has been hospitalized for progressive supranuclear palsy, a neurodegenerative condition he has been managing for a decade. The Rainbow PUSH Coalition announced his admission to the hospital and requested prayers for his recovery. Originally diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, Jackson’s PSP condition was confirmed in April. Jackson, a protege of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., stepped down from the leadership of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition in 2023 after rising to prominence as a civil rights leader and two-time presidential candidate.
