The Rainbow Push Coalition, which was founded by Jackson, said the 84-year-old is under observation for progressive supranuclear palsy, a neurodegenerative condition he was diagnosed with last year.
Jesse Jackson has been dealing with symptoms of the disease for more than a decade.

Jesse Jackson rose to the national stage in the 1960s by advocating for racial equity, economic justice and voter rights.
He worked closely with Reverend Martin Luther King Jr., and was considered one of his proteges.
