As if having monster, blockbuster movies isn’t enough, Will Smith is set to take over the small screen with two new television series in the works.

Smith and James Lassiter’s production company, Overbrook Entertainment, are developing an hourlong drama for FOX. The show is centered around a “crime-fighting college student” and will be set in China. The team has also nabbed Chinese-born filmaker Eva Jin to help create the show. Smith seems to have a thing for China; Overbrook produced ‘The Karate Kid”, staring Will’s son Jaden and shot the film there.

The second show is also an hourlong based on the film “Hitch”, which starred Smith. “Hitch” was a box office success, so I’m anxious to see what they will do with the tv show.

Both shows are untitled and uncast.

Which show will you watch?
